The big top was never more captivating and meticulously depicted as in these three classic flicks.

Inquiry & In Memoriam

I've been thinking about writing a book about him for a few years.
I hope to see my project finalized someday.
I just need official permission, printing assistance, and of course, more resources to contribute.
Does anyone out there know how and where I can get in contact with any of his friends or family that are still living and willing to be interviewed? I think it's a shame there is absolutely no book about Donald O' Connor in existence.
He certainly deserves a biography!

I just read her books; "Unsinkable" and "Make 'Em Laugh".
Now I'm beginning to indulge through her first book called "My Life"...
 Rest In Peace, Debbie.
You will be missed!

Busby Berkeley: King Of Choreography

The epic choreography (especially during grand finales) is nothing short of spectacular!
Many times while watching BB presentations I've been left utterly amazed at the sheer innovative and precise showmanship of some BB routines, considering the era in which they were done. They're just so amazing they need to be seen to believed, and viewed more than once to even further appreciate.

" In an era of breadlines, depression and wars, I tried to help people get away from all the misery...to turn their minds to something else. I wanted to make people happy, if only for an hour."

Wonder Bar
(1934)

Gold Diggers In Paris
(1938)

Basically, when you're watching a musical,"Busby Berkeley" are the two best words you can ever read as the opening credits roll, reassuring you that this flick is well worthwhile!

Request

                                                                            I have a special request...

Does anyone out there have any of the 1930s shorts with the underrated Frazee Sisters? Been searching forever! I would be eternally grateful if you could help somehow!

Anything with the lovely Jane Frazee would be very appreciated as well! :-)

THANK YOU!!!

Sisters Of The Silver Screen

Anne Shirley always reminds me of Olivia de Havilland! They even sound the same!
